Chambers UK Leading Firm 2025

On the 2ndof October 2024, the latest edition of The Legal 500 UK was published and Renaissance Legal has maintained its position as a Leading Firm in Sussex, Kent and Surrey for Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate work.

Our Managing Director, Philip Warford, was recognised once again as a Leading Partner and Katherine Miller is highlighted as a Recommended Lawyer.

The Legal 500 has been a benchmark of law firm excellence since 1987, and the rankings are based on independent research and analysis. Feedback in the newly launched UK commentary describes the firm as follows:

“The ‘hugely professional and energetic’ private client team at Renaissance Legal is well regarded for its expertise in handling the finances and welfare of disabled and vulnerable people, including drafting wills, creating and administering trusts, and handling power of attorney issues and Court of Protection applications. The practice is led by Philip Warford and Katherine Miller who are both described as ’excellent technical lawyers’.”

We were also honoured to have been given the Client Satisfaction Award from Legal 500 this year.  This is particularly important to us the accolade is awarded to law firms who achieve exceptionally high scores for client service and client experience in the Legal 500’s annual survey of hundreds of thousands of clients worldwide.

One client’s testimonial read:

‘What makes the team stand out is their specialism in and focus upon planning for the future (in life and after death) for very vulnerable, disabled adults and children, working with their families and carers.’

The team’s success in The Legal 500 UK follows legal directory success earlier in the year. In July, independent legal directory Chambers & Partners launched the 2024 edition of its High Net Worth Guide in which both the firm and Philip Warford retained their position as leading experts for their work in advising families and vulnerable clients.

Congratulations go to our Senior Associate Solicitor Stuart Price who was recognised as an Associate to Watch by Chambers and Partners for the first time this year:

Philip Warford said:

“I’m very proud that our talented team has been recognised in the Legal 500 UK and Chambers guides again this year. One particular testimonial stood out for me as it remarks upon the cohesive nature of our team. In a period where the firm has grown and evolved considerably, to have worked together to maintain such high standards of service and care for our clients, is no mean feat.

To have not only team-based, but also individual lawyer recognition across these two prestigious guides is a significant achievement. The research is independent, rigorous and takes in feedback from clients, fellow lawyers, barristers and other professionals”.
