Renaissance Legal, the leading specialists in legal advice to families and carers of disabled and vulnerable people and their families, are moving to new premises.

The firm, who recently won Excellence in Client Service at the Law Society Excellence Awards 2018, are moving to new offices in central Brighton in order to support the future growth plans of the firm.

The new base at Pacific House ensures the firm retains its strong Brighton presence, whilst facilitating its expansion plans and the servicing of clients across Sussex, London and beyond.

Philip Warford, Managing Director said: ‘We are thrilled with our new office space, which has been carefully chosen to support the work we do in advising clients in Sussex, London and the South East. As well as being in a convenient location for visitors, the new space has enhanced meeting areas to provide a better experience for our clients, which enables the team to provide the best possible service. We are looking forward to welcoming people into our new space.’

This major development in the history of Renaissance Legal follows an exceptional year for the firm. In addition to the recent Law Society award, the firm also won Boutique Law Firm of the Year at the 2017 Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners (STEP) Private Client Awards and recognition of its longstanding partnership with Mencap at the 2017 Business Charity Awards.

In March of this year the firm also launched a new Benefits service, welcoming experts Jayne Knights and Amy Swinnerton to the growing team.  Jayne and Amy offer both existing and new clients of the firm advice on welfare benefits eligibility, claims and appeals.

Finally, in celebration of the move, the firm has also announced details of a competition. Children and young adults (between the ages of 4 and 25) with disabilities or SEN are invited to enter an artwork competition to share a pictorial story of their ‘favourite day’.

There will be winners in four different age categories, with the overall winner in each having their artwork produced and professionally framed for display in the new Renaissance Legal office. Philip said: ‘We’re proud and excited to be working with a number of charities and community groups, including Amaze, who have very kindly agreed to be involved with the all-important judging, to share details of our competition.
