Renaissance Legal were delighted to be announced as the winners of the Professional Services Award at the Sussex Business Awards on Thursday 30th November. The team were also finalists in the Best Customer Service Award at the ceremony at The Grand in Brighton.

Renaissance Legal, from its headquarters in Brighton, specialises in safeguarding the finances and welfare of disabled and vulnerable people, their families and carers using Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications. The team, one of the few specialist private client firms in the country dedicated to the provision of tailored legal advice to this group, is also known for its work in trust and estate administration, Inheritance Tax planning advice, and end of life care planning.

Home to the nationwide Child Trust Fund Access Campaign, the team has developed a reputation for understanding the needs of vulnerable people and championing the issues that matter to them and this has been recognised at the Sussex Business Awards by a panel of expert judges.

Philip Warford, Managing Director, said:

“When I launched Renaissance Legal in 2010, I set out to create a different kind of law firm, one with a deep-rooted specialism that puts the client at the heart of what we do, and which makes a real difference to peoples’ lives. The families we work with all lead complex lives and they, quite rightly, expect not just first-class advice but a truly personal, supportive service that’s tailored to their needs. We’re so proud that the judges at this year’s Sussex Business Awards have recognised this and that the work of our dedicated team has been singled out for its quality among some other exceptional professional services firms in the county”.
