Sense – Planning for the Future with Wills & Trusts Webinar

On Thursday 25 February at 10.00am, Stuart Price will present a Wills and Trust Webinar to parents and carers at Sense.

Registered charity Sense supports people living with complex disabilities. Their mission is to remove barriers to communication so that everyone has the opportunity to live their life to the full.

Our webinar helps advise families on measures they can put in place to look after loved ones after they are gone. Stuart explains why a Will is sometimes not enough when you have a disabled or vulnerable child.

Stuart will also talk about how with the use of a Discretionary or Disabled Persons Trust, inheritance can be left to a son or daughter with disabilities without it affecting their means tested benefits or leave them financially at risk.

Areas covered:

  • How you can protect a disabled person using Wills and Trusts
  • Choosing Guardians for minor children
  • Choosing Executors and Trustees
  • Why write a Letters of Wishes
  • Making Gifts in a Will
  • When to set up a Trust
  • How to protect means tested benefits
